Secondary 3 Life-Wide Learning Programme: Embracing Multiculturalism, Respect, and Inclusivity
Date: 13/05/2026
Our Secondary 3 students recently participated in a Life-Wide Learning Programme themed "Building a Diverse and Inclusive Community”. Through ethnic minority cultural experiences and service-learning opportunities, students discovered the unique cultural characteristics of different communities in Hong Kong while reflecting deeply on the importance of social inclusion.
Throughout the event, students engaged in hands-on experiences, interactive learning, and community exploration, which significantly deepened their understanding of people from various cultural backgrounds . These activities encouraged them to appreciate cultural differences with an open mind and a respectful attitude, fostering greater empathy and a stronger sense of social responsibility.
By broadening students' horizons and helping them realize that multiculturalism is a vital cornerstone of Hong Kong society, this meaningful programme inspired them to actively practice the values of respect, tolerance, and inclusivity in their daily lives .
