Secondary 4 Life-Wide Learning Programme: Exploring Environmental Issues and Pathways to Sustainability

Date: 18/05/2026

Our Secondary 4 students recently participated in a Life-Wide Learning Programme centered around the theme "Building a Sustainable Community." Through a diverse range of off-campus visits and guided ecological tours, students explored the vital connections between environmental protection, resource recycling, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable community development from various perspectives.

To deepen their understanding, students visited T · PARK, O ·PARK1, WEEE.PARK , Yim Tin Tsai and the Hong Kong Wetland Park for hands-on learning and fieldwork. These immersive experiences provided them with a clearer insight into effective waste management, resource recovery, and the critical importance of green living and ecological conservation.

By learning through real-life observation and firsthand experience, students significantly broadened their horizons, strengthened their environmental awareness, and were inspired to apply sustainable practices to their daily lives by valuing precious resources and caring for nature so that we can work together to build a greener, more sustainable community.
